CHSM Holiday Quilt show and Tea

The Conifer Historical Society and Museum will host its First Annual Holiday Quilt Show and Tea on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park in Evergreen, Colorado. Hours 10a-2p.
Admission to the quilt display is free. The Holiday Tea is $8.00 pre-reserved,$10.00 that day. Seatings are available at 10a, 11a, 12p and 1p by reservation. Unreserved seating as available with admission that day. Elegant sandwiches, desserts, and scones with Devonshire cream featured. Call Suzi Morris 303-697-0871 to reserve for you and your guests at this fancy-and-fun occasion.
We will display quilts in traditional patterns, historic to the Conifer/Evergreen area and its families. Stories of the quilts will be included. If you live in that area or have in the past, and wish to display family quilts, please email Carollyn Dieter at carollynd@hotmail.com, or call 303-838-4355 for information. No entry fee.
The proceeds from this event support preservation projects of CHSM, especially the oral history collection. New members are cordially invited to join,$25.00 per year- information will be at the local history/rare book sale table at this great show.
